The Minnesota Supreme Court
requires 8 hours of parental education for parents involved in a custody
matter. The Kids 1st fulfills this requirement by a one-time completion of a co-parenting internet
program and a class conducted by our instructors. This Kids 1st program follows the TransParenting Curriculum (click here for more information).
The internet portion
of the curriculum should be completed before attending the class. It is important to choose the correct website based on your specific legal matter.
If you are involved in a divorce proceeding, go to: www.uptoparents.org
If you are involved in a custody proceeding where the parents were never married, go to: www.proudtoparent.org
